They created the service in February 2005. 


so,
     Basically YouTube isn't created by mastered mind, it creates to unravel a drag and accidently they developed worlds 2nd largest program The YouTube.





One day once they are enjoying the birthday celebration of his friend and that they recorded a video but next day they thought to share this video on internet but its impossible at that point because thereon time there's no video share platform and email cant send videos.









For solving this problem they created a platform of video sharing and "'Me at the zoo'' is that the very first video that was uploaded to YouTube. it had been uploaded on April 23, 2005 by the site's co-founder Jawed Karim, with the username "jawed" and recorded by his highschool friend Yakov Lapitsky.


Before this platform they're handling a Dating website which isn't successful.

But this platform engaged more people and that they continuous exerting on this.




why youtube generated more and more engagement ?



If we compare TV and YouTube then youtube gives power to the users for commenting, sharing, replay the video and lots of more whereas TV not provide any power like this.
